About the owner:

John Janda is a graduate of George Mason University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Sociology, and an October 2009 graduate of the AKS Massage School in Herndon, Virginia.  He graduated with high honors and currently holds the highest level of certification of Board Certified Massage Therapist through the NCBTMB (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork). John is licensed through the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Nursing, the Texas Department of State Health services, and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.  He is a Certified Wellness Coach and Injury Prevention Specialist certified by the International Weightlifting Association.  John is currently working towards a Certified Personal Trainer certification through the American College of Sports Medicine.  

John specializes in the following modalities:  Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Pregnancy, Injury Rehabilitation, Trigger Point therapy, Sports and Event, and Seated Chair massage.  He believes massage therapy should be both therapeutic and relaxing, and not only improves the physical functioning of the body, but also benefits the mind.  Taking the time to custom tailor each massage is what he strives for with every client.

For all new clients:
Please fill out the form on the Contact Us page, so I have basic contact information for you.  

Cancellation policy:
If you do need to cancel your scheduled appointment, please give me at least 24 hours notice.  I understand that certain situations beyond our control sometimes cause a reason to cancel an appointment. However, I reserve the right to charge 50% of the total session cost if not canceled within that time frame.    

Injury or Illness Notification:
If you are booking a session because you have sustained a recent injury, PLEASE let me know ASAP.  Certain conditions may apply where you may not be able to receive massage therapy for medical or safety issues.  If you are currently under a physician's care for any injury or illness, I will need to be notified in advance.  Certain conditions may limit what types of massage therapy you will be able to receive, or prohibit it altogether.  I can not be held responsible if your session can not occur due to any said condition or illness.

I accept payments in the form of cash or check only
Returned checks are subject to a $25.00 fee.
