About the owner:
John
Janda is a graduate of George Mason University with a BA in Communications and
Sociology, and an October 2009 graduate of AKS Massage School in Herndon,
Virginia. He graduated with honors and is nationally certified by the
National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), and
licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Nursing. He is also a
member of the American Massage Therapy Association. John specializes in
Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports and Event, Myofascial Release, and seated chair
massage techniques. He believes massage therapy should be both
therapeutic and relaxing, and not only improves the physical functioning of the
body, but also benefits the mind.
Taking the time to custom tailor each massage is what he strives for
with every client.

Parking: *IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ*
Please see the map below. We are located at the corner of Loudoun St. and Liberty St. If you are facing the building on the corner, there are steps that lead downstairs to the lower level, to the right of the brick wall at street level.
There is a FREE parking lot at the end of Liberty St which is a very short walk to the office. Please do NOT park directly behind the building as these spots are reserved. We can NOT be held responsible if your vehicle is towed.
Please make sure when map searching the address (or using GPS), that you use street direction SW and NOT SE. SE is Market Station which is about a 1/2 mile south of us.
Some Important Info:
For all new clients:
Please fill out the form on the Contact Us page, so we have basic contact information for you. Please
arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled massage, so we can allow time
for you to fill out the short intake form, and we have time to do a body
assessment, and custom tailor the massage to your specific needs. For
safety reasons, the door to the suite is normally locked until 20
minutes before your appointment. Please enjoy our patio seating or
indoor lobby while you wait!
Cancellation policy:
If you do
need to cancel your scheduled appointment, please give us at least 24
hours notice. We reserve the right to assess a $25.00 fee if not
canceled within that time frame. We understand that certain situations
beyond our control sometimes prevent a timely arrival. If this should
happen, please call to let us know that you are running late. The
session may have to be reduced to accommodate time constraints, if
conditions apply.
Injury or Illness Notification:
If you are
booking a session because you have sustained a recent injury, PLEASE
let us know! Certain conditions may apply where you may not be able to
receive massage therapy for medical or safety issues. If you are
currently under a physician's care for any injury or illness, we will
need to be notified in advance. Certain conditions may limit what types
of massage therapy you will be able to receive, or prohibit it
altogether. We can not be held responsible if your session can not
occur due to any said condition or illness.
Payments:
We accept payments in the form of cash, check and all major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover).

Returned
checks are subject to a $25.00 fee.
